For your own brand
White label, private label and custom development for microbial products
Your product range does not have to start with a completely new formula. You can use an existing formulation, adapt an established base or develop a product around your application. Compare the scope of each route and the decisions we agree with you before work begins.
Three routes
From existing product to your own development
The three routes differ in how far composition and formulation are fixed for you. Which one fits depends on your market, your volume and how distinctive the product needs to be.
- Existing product
White label
An existing, fully developed formulation that you bring to market under your own brand.
What we tailor: Pack size and labelling.
Suits you if: you want a first product under your own brand quickly.
Private label
An existing base, tailored to your brand and your market.
What we tailor: Composition, product form, concentration (CFU), shelf life, packaging and dosing.
Suits you if: you want more differentiation, or your market or system sets specific requirements.
- Own development
Custom development
A new product built around your application requirements.
What we do: Organism selection from our strain bank, formulation, prototype and a first commercial batch.
Suits you if: no suitable product exists yet for your application or market, or your brand needs its own composition.

Frequently asked questions
Briefly answered
What is the difference between white label, private label and custom development?
With white label you use an existing, fully worked-out composition under your own brand. With private label, composition or product form is tuned for your brand. With custom development we build a new product together from your application requirements.
What information do you need for a first conversation?
Useful details are your target market, the application, the desired product form and packaging, an indication of volumes and any requirements for composition. If information is missing, we help you determine it. Existing material, such as a composition, test results or a sample product, also helps.
Which markets is this for?
For agriculture and horticulture, home and garden, potting soil and growing media, ponds and aquariums, wastewater and aquaculture. Applications and requirements differ per market; the market pages tell you more.
How long does a project take?
That depends on the route, the application and the product form. We discuss the planning per project.
Who is responsible for registration and claims?
Registration, authorisation and claims for the end product rest with the brand owner. What we supply for that, we agree per project.
Next step
Your own product under your brand?
